The Orthobiologics Research Initiative was founded by a group of visionaries led by Dr. Ferrell, who recognized a significant gap in the accessibility of regenerative medicine and orthobiologics. They observed that the benefits of these advanced treatments were disproportionately available to wealthier individuals, leaving underserved and underinsured populations without such options. Dr. Ferrell, witnessing the skew in his own practice towards those who could afford out-of-pocket treatments, was motivated to address this disparity.
